Join Lizzy for a two hour walk around the scenic and historic South London National Nature Reserve, which adjoins our private woodland. Each walk will have a main focus on an aspect of bushcraft but also an element of spontaneity, as we shall talk about whatever we see on the day.
Dates:

Timings: 9.00am to 11.00am
Aged: 14 and above. The walks are tailored to adults. 14 year olds and above are welcome to come with a responsible adult.
Location: Meeting at Coulsdon South Train Station.
Walks are expected to be 2 hours long and to cover a maximum of 7km or 4.4miles. They will not be rapid walks, the focus is on stopping to look at the environment around us rather than cover ground. The walks are suitable for anyone with an interest in bushcraft and the natural world, whether you have been on a course with us before or not. You will need the ability to cope with: all weathers, time standing still to look at the details in the natural environment around us and walking over uneven ground.
I am tailoring the walks towards adults. 14 year olds and above are welcome to come with a responsible adult. Dogs are not invited on these walks, but it is likely that we will encounter dogs being walked in the areas we are exploring.
To promote environmentally conscious travel and increase accessibility in line with our ethos we are meeting at Coulsdon South train station, well served by both trains and buses, from London and the South. The station is also on the Avenue Verte London <> Paris cycling route with cycle racks and it is on the London Loop – a walking route around the outer edge of the capital city. There is on street parking in Reddown Road, behind the station, check the ULEZ restrictions for your journey too.
